Online: The 5th Kent ENdoscopy Training hybrid course on ‘Endo-surgical insight into Colorectal and Oesophageal Submucosal space’

30/09/2021 7:00 AM BST

We will be back tomorrow, Thursday 30th of September, at 07:30 BST.

We are delighted to welcome you to the annual KENT Training Course, live streamed to a fully virtual audience from Margate, Kent, at the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital on 29th and 30th of September 2021.

This is a very promising and extremely popular event amongst our UK gastroenterologists and surgeons, that has gone from strength to strength over the last 4 years. It is the only endoscopy-surgical training course dedicated to complex colorectal lesions, comprising of both live lectures and endoscopy cases. This year, an internationally recognised faculty will join a prestigious, well-respected UK faculty to establish a unique and global training course.

In view of these challenging and unprecedented times, we are proud of our team committee members who have managed to design and launch a live streaming course linking with world experts in the field of endoscopy (USA, Japan, India, Australia, Spain, Italy and UK), again. It will provide insight from a national and international faculty to allow our British colleagues to get a sound grasp of a real-time endoluminal therapy practice worldwide.

Our ultimate goal is to sustain high quality training, encompassing the endo-surgical management of complex colorectal and oesophageal lesions and introduce advanced endoscopy and surgical resection techniques (EMR, ESD, SCOPE, POEM, TAMIS), exploring the oesophageal submucosal space/third space and trans-anal excision.

During these 2 virtual days (29th and 30th of September 2021), the course will be held all day from 7:30am to 7:30pm (BST) to meet the demands of time zone differences. The course will be interactive with delegates invited to pose questions during the live case sessions, answered by experts in real time. A set of live dedicated lectures covering a wide range of therapeutic procedures in the lower and upper gastrointestinal tract will be live streamed to all attendees. The moderation of the live case sessions will advocate interactive discussions between delegates and experts.

Registration for all delegates is free.
