The aim of Global Pain Day is to enhance knowledge of analgesia in the context of evidence-based management of acute and chronic pain.
The event will be of particular relevance to healthcare professionals from around the world with an interest in pain management, such as general practitioners, pharmacists, nurses, physiotherapists, osteopaths, dentists and other pain specialists.
Global Pain Day addresses a variety of hot topics in pain management, such as how to holistically manage pain to improve quality of life, and how to choose the best analgesics for patients with acute, chronic, or recurring conditions. The day will also include discussions on the latest guideline updates and the role of over-the-counter analgesia in the post-COVID-19 era.
Delegates will be able to engage with the faculty and directly participate in the live discussions and Q&A sessions.
The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine has approved this event for 14 CPD points for a full day watched.
